Hi Mountain Jerky Cutting Board


This cutting board is an essential part of any enthusiast's jerky making supplies.


Cutting muscle meat perfectly to size is the most difficult part of making jerky. It is made so much easier with the use of the Hi Mountain Jerky Cutting Board.

The board is made from premium hardwood with a Baltic birch insert and has been specifically designed to allow you to easily cut your meat for even penetration of the jerky cures and seasonings. This novel cutting board, made in the USA, allows you to cut your meat perfectly every time to either a 1/4in (6mm) or 3/8in (9mm) thickness (you'll get no scrappy off cuts or wasted meat!).

    This board makes it trivial to cut off perfectly even slices from a large piece of meat, such as rump or silverside. You need use a sharp knife with a long and thin blade, such as a ham slicer or long roast slicer. Board is made out of light pine, so somewhat overpriced for what it is. But it works really well, so I'm still giving it four stars.

    My only reason this isnt a 5 start is because it was cheaper to buy the knife + board seperatly rtather than in the pack.

    Perfect cuts every time, if your like me you will want it a bit thinner than 5mm but just cut a 2mm peice of sheet steal to put in their and 3mm PERFECT cuts every time.
