Supplied in a 1kg Zip Lock Pouch, the Hickory smoke powder can be used in foods or on foods making them a great addition to Sausages and Jerky. You can add Powdered smoke to any food including sauces, or mix with other seasonings to sprinkle on your BBQ meats and add to soups.
Add the powder to your favourite meat rub or salt mix to give that added flavour, particularly suitable in stuffings and dry curing mixes like Misty Gully Maple Bacon Cure.
Eliminates the need for the smoking process as the flavour is added during the curing, drying or manufacturing stage.
This is a very strong flavoured concentrated commercial product, we recommend, if you mix it, that you don't do the tasting immediately as the aroma will be in your senses and you won't be able to taste it.
Hickory is the go to flavour for smoked foods and is a strong but mellow smoke flavour compared to the Mesquite.
