Product Description

Cutting muscle meat perfectly to size is the most difficult part of making jerky. It is made so much easier with the use of the Hi Mountain Jerky Cutting Board and Knife.

The board is made from premium hardwood with a Baltic birch insert and has been specifically designed to allow you to easily cut your meat for even penetration of the jerky cures and seasonings. This novel cutting board, made in the USA, allows you to cut your meat perfectly every time to either a 1/4in (6mm) or 3/8in (9mm) thickness (you'll get no scrappy off cuts or wasted meat!).   

The Hi Mountain Jerky knife is a sharp, broad and long 13.5in flat blade that goes hand in hand with the Hi Mountain Jerky Cutting Board for easy slicing of meat into perfect strips for making your jerky!

    Cutting board is simple in design but makes cutting jerky a breeze. Hand in hand with the knife it is a great combo. I cut aprox 3kg of topside into steaks in about 10min as apposed to hours. The knife is good out of the box and is comfy to use. Don't expect to pull the cutting board out and use it immediately you will need to oil it first. I used Feast Watson kitchen timber oil from bunnings. Recommend this product.
